APPLICATIONS

  • Warning! :This fuel does not comply with any regulation.
  • Especially blended for supercharged engines.
  • Enables significant improvements of the supercharging pressure compared to commercial fuels as well as an increase of the ignition timing, keeping together an improved protection against pinking. Therefore, power improvements can occur up to 10% and more, depending upon the type of engines.
  • These results can be achieved thanks to the use of particular kinds of hydrocarbons which present a strong resistance to pinking on supercharged engine.

RECOMMENDATIONS

  • The best mapping concerning air/fuel equivalence ratio (1.25 to 1.30), supercharging pressure and ignition advance will give optimum results. The difficulty is that on turbocharged engines, these three parameters are fundamental and completely dependent on each other.
  • Air/fuel ratio must absolutely be re-tuned : according to the high density of ELF TURBO BOOST compared with commercial fuels, significant reductions of gasoline flows are usually necessary.
  • In order to maintain the original properties, and according to Health and Safety regulations of commercial fuels, this gasoline shall be handled and stored in a cool place and always maintained in tightly shut drums.
  • This fuel MUST NOT BE USED in 2-stroke engines and 4-stroke atmospheric engines, because of its chemical composition which can develop pinking and detonation on the first ones and combustion problems on the second ones.
